Welcome! We’re the “Montgomery Crew” and this is our family website. The name MontgomeryCrew comes from our interest in sailing, but we have many other interests. Given the diversity of our interests, this site is a hodgepodge of largely unrelated information which makes it challenging to effectively organize the site. Hopefully the structure chosen allows you to easily find what you are looking for.

There are three main purposes for this site and understanding those purposes will help you to understand how the site is organized and why portions of the site are protected. The purposes are:

To coordinate family activities, email and schedules. Google Apps
provides a good tool for this - but our email, calendars, and notebooks are of course unavailable for public viewing.
To share personal information, photographs and video with extended family and friends. Examples include family vacations, family activities, the kid’s team sporting events, etc. For reasons of privacy, these sections of this site are also not available to the public.
To share information and thoughts related to our hobbies and activities that other people with similar interests may find interesting or useful. These sections of the website are available to everyone and we encourage those with similar interests to take a look.
